Keylime Pie


Need a delicious dessert for a warm day? This simple and delicious pie is perfect!




  • 1.5 c crushed graham crackers or if in UK mix digestive & rich tea biscuits
  • 1/4 c granulated sugar
  • 4 TB melted unsalted butter
  • 2 cans sweetened condensed milk 
  • 2 large eggs
  • 5 limes juiced
  • 1-2 TB lime zest


- add cracker crumbs, sugar and butter

- Preheat oven to 375 degrees

- grease pie pan then press cracker mixture into pan until evenly distributed for crust

- place crust into oven for 20 minutes. WATCH CLOSELY- as you can see below I burnt my first crust :-/ Once brown, take out of oven and let cool

- Reduce oven to 325 degrees

- while crust is baking -mix milk, eggs, lime juice and zest into bowl

- Add filling onto crust and place back in oven for 15 minutes

- Take out and cool for 2 hours in fridge

- Serve with whipped cream
