Fitness

Being active is an important part of a healthy lifestyle but it's easy to feel overwhelmed if you are new to the fitness scene or even if you have been at it for a while, you may be looking to mix up your routine. My goal is to educate you on how to do exercises properly (stay SAFE) as well as exercises that may help alleviate some chronic issues you have been having. Repetitive movements done incorrectly will lead to injury or other chronic issues. Group classes can be a great option for fitness but often lead to injury as the instructor is unable to correct every participant or often don’t know how. If you are new to fitness or have injuries you should work in small group training (no more than 6) or have several private sessions with a Personal Trainer or better yet a Stott Pilates Instructor.

I am a Stott trained Pilates instructor with 6 years experience in this industry. I work with a number of “special populations” including those suffering from back pain and seniors. My passion is helping anyone find movement and strength that works for their body. I am also an ACE Certified Group Fitness Instructor specializing in Mind/Body, Barre, Circuit, Strength and HIIT.  My approach to fitness is always quality over quantity. You will see better results and protect yourself from injury if you perform exercises correctly. Don't be afraid to take modifications with correct form and build up the strength and endurance to master the next level.
